BACnet ⇄ MQTT gateway

Expose your BACnet BMS objects over MQTT — for IoT, cloud and data analytics.

The problem

Your BMS speaks BACnet (IP or MSTP) and runs the building. But IoT platforms, analytics tools and the cloud consume MQTT / JSON. Getting BACnet data out to those platforms cleanly — without a heavy supervisor — is far from obvious.

How the WBox does it

The WBox publishes BACnet objects as JSON over MQTT for IoT and cloud

The WBox gateway reads BACnet objects and their properties (BACnet/IP and MSTP) and publishes them as lightweight JSON over MQTT to a broker. Ideal for IoT dashboards, remote supervision or a data lake.

The bridge is bidirectional: an MQTT message can write a BACnet value or setpoint. Mapping and transformation (objects ⇄ JSON) are configured by drag & drop, with hysteresis and a consistency check to control throughput.

What you need

The same principle applies: the upload can target Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
