Need to connect LoRaWAN and M-Bus? The Weble WBox routes LoRaWAN M-Bus natively: one gateway speaks both protocols and maps data points in real time — no PC, no middleware, no cloud dependency.

The protocols

LoRaWAN

LoRaWAN carries data from battery-powered sensors over several kilometres with very low power.

M-Bus

M-Bus reads heat, water, gas and electricity meters over a dedicated 2-wire bus.

How the WBox bridges LoRaWAN and M-Bus

On the WBox you enable the LoRaWAN driver and the M-Bus driver, then map each point: a value read on the LoRaWAN side — long-range, low-power wireless — is exposed on the M-Bus side — the metering bus — and vice-versa. Conversion, scaling and logic run on the gateway itself.
