Need to connect MQTT and ADS? The Weble WBox routes MQTT ADS natively: one gateway speaks both protocols and maps data points in real time — no PC, no middleware, no cloud dependency.

The protocols

MQTT

MQTT is the lightweight publish/subscribe protocol used by IoT devices and cloud brokers.

ADS

ADS is the native protocol of Beckhoff TwinCAT PLCs.

How the WBox bridges MQTT and ADS

On the WBox you enable the MQTT driver and the ADS driver, then map each point: a value read on the MQTT side — the lightweight IoT publish/subscribe protocol — is exposed on the ADS side — the Beckhoff TwinCAT PLC protocol — and vice-versa. Conversion, scaling and logic run on the gateway itself.
