The WBox S485 KNX is the S485 universal control unit with an additional, dedicated KNX TP port. It natively bridges a KNX bus together with RS-485, making it ideal for smart-building, HVAC and industrial-automation projects that combine KNX with BACnet MS/TP or Modbus RTU — all on a single gateway.

Communication interfaces

The S485 KNX features one RS-485 interface and one dedicated KNX TP port, letting you bridge a KNX bus with Modbus or BACnet MS/TP devices on a single unit. An Ethernet port (10/100 Mbps) connects the gateway to the network, the internet or supervision systems.
