Les 3 Rocs, Verbier — BMS and SCADA for a hotel complex

Central supervision of an entire complex — lighting, cooling, ventilation and occupancy — across 3,600+ KNX participants and 170 controllers, with PCvue SCADA.

The context

At Les 3 Rocs, in Verbier, Weble deployed a building-automation system for the entire complex: a central supervision drives lighting, cooling and ventilation, and manages occupancy across the rooms.

What we delivered

  • installation of various field buses for control and information distribution;
  • over 3,600 KNX participants for lighting and heating (sensors and set points);
  • over 170 programmable controllers to manage the rooms and data flows;
  • a “gateway” controller for the primary heating, the interface with the hotel booking system, time commands, floor convectors and temperature logic;
  • a PCvue SCADA workstation — visualising and driving the whole complex from a central point.

The benefit

  • Unified control of an entire complex from a single supervision.
  • Business integration: heating and rooms follow the hotel bookings.
  • Per-room comfort: lighting, cooling, ventilation and occupancy.
