On the WBox you enable the OPC UA driver and the MQTT driver, then map each point: a value read on the OPC UA side — the industrial interoperability standard — is exposed on the MQTT side — the lightweight IoT publish/subscribe protocol — and vice-versa. Conversion, scaling and logic run on the gateway itself.
