OPC UA is the vendor-independent standard for Industry 4.0 communication, from sensors to ERP and cloud. The WBox gateway supports both roles: as a client it crawls an external server’s address space and reads/writes with COV subscriptions; as a server it exposes the gateway’s addresses to SCADA, HMI and MES systems — with built-in security.
